This policy explains what VoiceBill collects, why, and who else processes it.
Who we are
VoiceBill is an invoicing app published by Crawfty Applications. Questions about this policy, or about your data, go to makemesomeapps@gmail.com.
Account information
Signing in is handled by Clerk, our authentication provider. Clerk stores your email address, your name, and your profile image if your sign-in method supplies one. Authentication is delegated entirely to Clerk — this app never receives or stores your password.
The data you create
Everything you enter is stored in our backend, hosted by Convex, and belongs to your account:
- Your business profile — name, contact details, address, logo, tax and payment settings
- Customers you save — names, email addresses, phone numbers, addresses
- Saved items and their prices
- Invoices, their line items, notes and terms
- Signatures you draw on an invoice
This content is visible only to your account. It is not shared with other users, sold, or used for advertising.
Voice recordings
When you use a voice command, the recording is uploaded to our backend and sent to Google Gemini, which converts what you said into invoice fields. The recording is deleted as soon as the command finishes.
Recordings are not kept, not attached to your invoices, and not used to train any model. Every voice feature has a typed equivalent, so you can use the app without speaking at all.
The text of what you said is retained only where it becomes part of an invoice you saved — a customer name, a description, an amount.
Payments
Subscriptions are sold and processed by Apple and Google. Your card details go to them, never to us — we cannot see them. What we store is the store's transaction identifier, which plan you bought, the amount the store charged, when it renews, and an anonymous token the store uses to tell us which app account made the purchase.
Usage counts
We count how many AI commands and invoices your account uses each month, so that plan limits can be enforced and shown to you. These are counts, not content.
Anonymous analytics
An invoice you export carries a link to our app store listing. If a recipient taps it, we record that a tap happened — the month, the subscription tier of the account that sent the invoice, and whether it was iOS or Android. No user identifier, device identifier or IP address is stored with it, and there is no way to trace a tap back to you or to your customer. We use no third-party analytics or advertising SDK.
Who else processes your data
- Clerk — authentication and account identity
- Convex — backend hosting, database and file storage
- Google Gemini — converting voice and text commands into invoice fields
- Apple and Google Play — subscription payments
- Expo — app delivery and over-the-air updates
How long we keep it
Your invoices, customers and items are kept while your account exists, because they are the records you rely on. Voice recordings are deleted immediately after processing. Payment records are kept as long as required for support and accounting.
Deleting your data
You can delete individual invoices, customers and items in the app at any time. To delete your whole account, open More → Delete Account and confirm, or sign in at voice-invoice.crawftyapps.xyz/delete-account without the app. This removes your invoices, customers, saved items, business profile, signatures and usage history, and deletes your sign-in credentials. It cannot be undone. You can also email makemesomeapps@gmail.com from the address you signed up with and we will do it for you.
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription bought through the App Store or Google Play. Cancel that in the store, before or after deleting, or it will keep billing.
Children
VoiceBill is a business tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it, and material changes are announced in the app before they take effect.
